I have 8 new paintings installed at Calico, Thunder Bay, from Feb to mid-March. The work hones in on Owls and Bears as subject matter. These works are a continuation of Canadiana Kitsch series that are a painterly exploration of layering gestural techniques, as well as an attempt to show a relationship between animal and environment to advocate environmental stewardship. SO GOOD !! Everyone in Tbay should own one of your works... I was lucky enough to get one (polar bear) through the TBAG Art Auction.. I LOVE IT !!

I am in love with both of your paintings of the mother bear and cub(s)...specifically the mother and her two cubs. Absolutely stunning. If it's available when I have the money and space for it, I'd love to purchase it! Great work!
