Exhibition Statement The Term Boundary describes a line that marks the limits of an area; a dividing line. There are robust clay communities on either side of the border in the Midwest that seem to drive each countries respective clay communities. The Boundaries exhibition is about building bridges between these drivers, Alberta and Montana. The Boundaries exhibition's joins the chorus of individuals and organizations trying to build connections between our impactful clay communities. In particular, the exhibition brings together the work of residents and staff at the Clay Studio of Missoula and the Medalta Clay Center in the spirit of cultural exchange. The artists involved will be exhibiting internationally while building important networks between Canada and the States which will help lay the groundwork for a fruitful future. |
